Introduction (Discovery Admin v9.9)

This page captures the actions that can be taken on the results of Discovery Admin via UI Actions on the Log Analysis Form and the Log Analysis List View.

{ Quick Discovery }

This UI Action is available under Related Links on the Log Analysis form.

It launches a targeted discovery on the Device IP using the associated MID Server on the form.

{ Add IP to IP Exclusion }

This UI Action is available under Related Links on the Log Analysis form.

It adds the Device IP Address on the form to the IP Exclusion [ip_exclusion] table, preventing it from being scanned in future scheduled discoveries.

{ Add Selected IPs to IP Exclusion }

This UI Action is available under [Actions on selected rows] on the Log Analysis list view.

It adds the Device IP Addresses from selected records to the IP Exclusion [ip_exclusion] table. Excluded IPs are skipped in future scheduled discoveries.
